The Gateway

Waterloo Square

This is the entrance to our newest shopping development in South Shields. Waterloo Square has four quite large retail outlets, British Home Stores, Debenhams, Next, and River Island. It has been a big success so far after being built on the land vacated by the old Victorian police station and the fire station.

Comments:
Curly, Interesting architecture! At first glace I though those were stain glass panels. But upon closer inspection they look like some sort of mesh or fabric? Excellent composition!

This entrance is unique

nice and colourful design, liking it :)

Looks very nice, I love shopping. :) Hope the fire and police are still in business!

bhs! my aunt calls it the old people's store.
