Wooden Roses

picture of flower seller, King Street, South Shields

Four pounds per bunch

I caught this picture in King Street, South Shields, of a flower seller and his stall. The roses looked so colourful, but incredibly they were all carved from wood and coloured later!

It was the young lad who caught my eye, perhaps counting out his pocket money to buy a small gift for his mother?

Oh WOW! Brilliant colors.
