The Big Rock

Graham Sands

Graham Sands is a small area located behind Trow Rocks in South Shields, it's part of our rugged but beautiful coastline. Here the viewpoint is looking north towards Tynemouth, our south pier and lighthouse are on the horizon. I find the area very fascinating and tranquil at low tide, but raw and exciting at high tide.

Comments:
Great angle to capture this amazing rock. I have always been an admirer of your coasts. I like the sea a lot and seashore pictures, specially cliffs are one of my favorites. So, this enormous rock and the lighthouse you see back there, together with the clouds make a perfectly composed image.

again, wow! Great composition... the lighthouse makes one linger and explore the photo.
