Cricket lovely cricket

Whitburn Cricket Club

This is one of the loveliest cricket clubs in the Borough of South Tyneside, here we see the home team coming out with the umpires to prepare for their innings. Whitburn Hall is in the background behind the trees. This illustrates the quintessential English summer, sipping cold beer in front of the pavillion, enjoying a game of cricket in the warm sunshine!
