Whitby Abbey

Whitby is a small fishing port on the east coast of England, featured in Bram Stoker's "Dracula". This is the Abbey founded by St. Hilda.

Outstanding! Beautiful! What more can you say? I used to live in a town called Whitby here in Canada. It was named after your Whitby.

Fantabulous! ( yes I know I made that up ) almost looks like the moon was photoshopped, but I'm sure it wasn't. Great shot Curly.

wow so eerie, brilliant!
i can never take a photo of the moon - my Canon Ixus 60 is refusing to take good shots at night.

Your shot is surprising as the Moon seems so gigantic ! Did you take this shot at night like Jazzy supposes it ?
