Have you got the time?

picture of clock at Manhattans, South Shields

Manhattans, Mile End Road.

This public house opposite the Scotia and a few yards up Mile End Road, used to be called The Sportsman's Bar, and the clock outside is a relic of the latter. I think they liked it so much they decided to keep it. Comes in handy when the bar staff have to call:

"Time ladies and gentlemen please!"

very nice. i like this photo a lot.

Hi Curly, excellent pic, with this short depth of field which emphasize the clock!

That's excellent. Love the picture and the clock is fantastic - great that they saved it.

sure, I got time for beautiful photo like this one :-)

Superbe, ce chronometre est tres beau. c'est tres original

Superb, this stop watch is very beautiful. it is very original

Wow what a beauty! I like depth of field here and the bright colors. No wonder they kept the clock. I have had a wonderful time too zooming in and out South Shields on Google Maps. Amazing colors on those roofs and streets, looks like "lego pieces". And the nearby river and coast surely makes it a wonderful place to live.

They could use it for drinking competitions. Nice photo.

what a great photo. the clock is a treasure, it's good they kept it.
