Red and Blue

picture of red boat on river tyne

"Star of Hope"

This little red boat is named Star of Hope and I found her moored along with a few others near the bank of the River Tyne close to the riverside park in Jarrow.
(The Ektachrome transparency was created with Photoshop.)

Very beautiful photograph and color. and your idea of presentation is superb. cheer and good day

ha ha, I thought you scanned the 35mm positive on 120 role scanner adapter or some sort.
Good idea for framing the photo like this one. Good vivid chrome effect.
Excellent work Curly.

Strange line and great colors.

Hey Curly,

Nice shot. Reminds me of the fishing back in my home town in Scotland. Nice colours and framing...

However I really am in 2 minds about the Ektachrome... I guess it is a personal preference, but I like the shot more with out the boarder, yet it looks a little stark with out this addition...

Nice though!

And thanks for all your recent comments.

Bluey.

Wonderful colors and shadows; and great effect due to rippled water!

Red seems to work so well on a boat, we had some wedding shots done with a small red boat in the background, the colour stands out so well in the water. Nice shot.
