The Ghost Train

All aboard!

This is almost a repost of my picture of 27th. November, shall I explain how I came to make this? It's a dreary wet day and commuters were waiting to board the train to Newcastle. I had set up my tripod in the corner of the station and took a few shots with longish exposures as the train arrived.

In Photoshop I copied and pasted four frames and duplicated them twice each and used them on separate layers, before playing around with the blend modes and transparency. That's how I came to make "the Ghost Train."

This is effective, Curly. Thanks for sharing how you did it. I need more PS practice. I like how you created the illusion of movement in a still photo.
