Ostrich Meat

Picture of Ostrich meat suasages, continental market, king street, south shields

Continental Market (part ll)

It's quite fascinating what some people will eat, I'm not sure how many folks will be buying this Ostrich "Sausage" offered in the Continental Market, King Street, South Shields this weekend.
Perhaps some of our Australian visitors can let us know what it tastes like. However, as they say, "variety is the spice of life".

I think I'll pass on that.

I remember my Biology professor noting that you never see a pile of eyeballs, etc. outside meat-packing plants. In other words, EVERYTHING (use your imagination) is used. And, where "it" is used is in sausage.
